The Free Firehorse
Rendered at monumental scale, The Free Firehorse captures the energy of a black horse charging through breaking waves. Rich violet reflections across its coat contrast against luminous blues of the sea, creating a sense of movement and vitality.
Rather than presenting the horse as a portrait alone, Bogaca emphasizes motion and presence, allowing water, wind, and light to become extensions of the animal itself. The work celebrates freedom, endurance, and the enduring relationship between strength and nature.
Power has many forms. Some are loud. Others move with quiet certainty.
